3. The purposes of the processing for which the personal data are intended & the legal basis for the processing

Mindpreneur.co collects personal data for the purposes of the organization of its events and community, which requires providing an e-mail address, name and surname. The collection of this personal data is based on the data subject’s own given consent.

Mindpreneur.co also collects personal data for the purposes of its subscription services, based on the data subject’s own given consent. Such subscription services include Mindpreneur.co’s newsletter and subscribing to receive press releases. Subscribing to receive press releases requires giving the following information: e-mail address. Subscribing to the newsletter requires giving the following information: name and surname, e-mail address. The personal data collected for purposes of the newsletter and press releases are stored in the database of Wix, a company operating in the United States of America, in accordance with obligations posed by the GDPR and American data privacy laws. To send an inquiry for courses, data subjects are required to give the following personal data: name, surname, and e-mail address. Applying to become a community member requires giving up the following personal data: name, surname, and e-mail.

Mindpreneur.co’s Founder processes the organization’s internal personal data for purposes of the daily functioning of the organization (including the following functions: payroll, accounting, internal accounting, and invoicing), as well as for providing information on upcoming events. These activities comply with the GDPR, as well as with general good data protection practices. Mindpreneur.co complies with the obligations under the Finnish Associations Act (503/1989) and the GDPR.
